Exam Week

Tomorrow I am going to the hospital for a surgery. My mother is travelling down to come with me which is definitely good, don't think I would be able to do it without someone there.. It's my first one ever and I must admit I'm a little nervous, but I should be aloud to come home that night so it shouldn't be too bad. The worst thing is though is that I am not going to be able to write a couple of exams the next day. It's putting me behind and I'm going to end up trying to fit the rest of my exams in before Christmas...even though I'm pretty sure I'm going to end up writing one after Christmas anyways, just what I want to be thinking of over Christmas... Anyways I'm heading to bed now, wish me luck!

Top 50 Animal Pics for 2011

Came across these photo's this morning. They are the top animal pictures from 2011 pon a site called buzzfeed.com. There were some really cute pictures, although some were pretty sad too, thought I'd share them with yall.

If you wanna check them all out they have a couple sentences describing the pic too. I thought #1 was pretty cool.

New Earth-like Planet

"The National Optical Astronomy Observatory announced on Wednesday the discovery of Kepler-21b, a new planet that's close to the size of earth and is only about 352 light years away."

This is crazy to think about. Even though they said that the sun is too close and too hot for there to be liquid water on this new planet, the new discovery actually shows that there are planets out there similar to Earth. Imagine if there is another planet like ours that has life on it and maybe even humans...there's no way of knowing right now, so it could be possible!
Another note, it's amazing how we can see a planet that far away now.. how is that possible??

Check it out:

Exams

Exams are two weeks away...urgh. BUT, I can't wait to have them come and then over with so we'll be home for Christmas break.
I am writing six exams and they start on December 9th and go to the 19th. I am pretty happy with the schedule I got.. the only thing I'm not looking forward to is how both my math exams got put on the same day, one at nine and one at seven at night. That will be a fun day.
I would like to say I have started studying for some of them already, but I haven't. I'm still trying to catch up with all the work I have in term still. Which I should probably get back at...

Question

Something you've done all your life can become part of you, part of your identity. What would it be like to have it taken away from you. You can't see life without it, it's like losing something close to you, or something that has been there ever since you can remember, something to go to, something to do, something that describes you as a person.
12 years. And was around it before that...more than half of your life. Every summer, every winter...and then the whole year. More and more time is spent on it and a bunch of yours and parents money and time. It's what your going to do with your life in the future and what you are doing now. It will be your career, and it is your life. Not stopping. No matter what it means. Can't.

Is this reasonable, or is it completely irrational?
