Exam Week

Tomorrow I am going to the hospital for a surgery. My mother is travelling down to come with me which is definitely good, don't think I would be able to do it without someone there.. It's my first one ever and I must admit I'm a little nervous, but I should be aloud to come home that night so it shouldn't be too bad. The worst thing is though is that I am not going to be able to write a couple of exams the next day. It's putting me behind and I'm going to end up trying to fit the rest of my exams in before Christmas...even though I'm pretty sure I'm going to end up writing one after Christmas anyways, just what I want to be thinking of over Christmas... Anyways I'm heading to bed now, wish me luck!

Top 50 Animal Pics for 2011

Came across these photo's this morning. They are the top animal pictures from 2011 pon a site called buzzfeed.com. There were some really cute pictures, although some were pretty sad too, thought I'd share them with yall.

If you wanna check them all out they have a couple sentences describing the pic too. I thought #1 was pretty cool.

New Earth-like Planet

"The National Optical Astronomy Observatory announced on Wednesday the discovery of Kepler-21b, a new planet that's close to the size of earth and is only about 352 light years away."

This is crazy to think about. Even though they said that the sun is too close and too hot for there to be liquid water on this new planet, the new discovery actually shows that there are planets out there similar to Earth. Imagine if there is another planet like ours that has life on it and maybe even humans...there's no way of knowing right now, so it could be possible!
Another note, it's amazing how we can see a planet that far away now.. how is that possible??

Check it out:

Exams

Exams are two weeks away...urgh. BUT, I can't wait to have them come and then over with so we'll be home for Christmas break.
I am writing six exams and they start on December 9th and go to the 19th. I am pretty happy with the schedule I got.. the only thing I'm not looking forward to is how both my math exams got put on the same day, one at nine and one at seven at night. That will be a fun day.
I would like to say I have started studying for some of them already, but I haven't. I'm still trying to catch up with all the work I have in term still. Which I should probably get back at...

Question

Something you've done all your life can become part of you, part of your identity. What would it be like to have it taken away from you. You can't see life without it, it's like losing something close to you, or something that has been there ever since you can remember, something to go to, something to do, something that describes you as a person.
12 years. And was around it before that...more than half of your life. Every summer, every winter...and then the whole year. More and more time is spent on it and a bunch of yours and parents money and time. It's what your going to do with your life in the future and what you are doing now. It will be your career, and it is your life. Not stopping. No matter what it means. Can't.

Is this reasonable, or is it completely irrational?

I read this quote on another blog tonight.  Just thought I'd repost it.

iPhone 4s

So the long waited for new iPhone finally came out.. not the iPhone 5 but the iPhone 4s. I don't know much about them really, but anyone who I know that has bought an iPhone since it came out has been told by their phone company that there is only one difference in the 4s and that it's cheaper to buy the iPhone 4 so they end up buying the 4 to save money and pretty much have the same features.
Quite a while ago I posted about deciding to either get the iPhone or a blackberry... Well I chose the iPhone. And very glad I did, I love it. I've had it for about five weeks now... The only thing is that I think something is wrong with my battery. I think it is dieing to fast but I might just be paranoid. Is less than a day for a five week old iPhone mean it is dieing too fast? Even if I only text with it...I haven't even put music or anything on it yet and barely have any games...
But I did buy the three year extended warranty as well so if I call them then I may be able to replace it..unless this is normal. But apparently you have to register your warranty with the little package you get..didn't know that until last night actually...maybe should've actually opened my warranty package.

Halloween Night

My Halloween night has been spent working on a chemistry lab report.. lots of fun....
I have come to the conclusion that chemistry takes up my life. Actually. I have either chem class, chem lab or chem tutorial everyday of the week, and the other times of the day when I am not in those classes or another, I have to spend it working on the assignments, the lab or studying for one of the midterms we have in it. I. Am. Not. A. Fan. Of. Chemistry.

Have a better Halloween then me. Bed time.

Busy Time

My blog has been ignored for the past few weeks. I am sorry I have not been checking everyone's out and all. I have not had any time. Basketball and school is crazy...I barely have the time to do my school work. I literally am lucky to get an hour of extra study time a week because every other second is spent on basketball, class or studying for midterms later at night... I am going to try and update you all on what's been going down and catch up on all of your blogs later this week!

Hazing

Have you ever been involved in some sort of "rookie party"? I wonder how many teams/people still actually do these. I know that pretty much every team or whichever used to always have them but with more awareness on hazing and everything many universities, high schools or whatever have really been trying to stop it. A surprising number of athlete's, etc. have actually been killed at these sorts of parties. Even close by you hear of someone who has drank a little too much voluntarily or involuntarily and died from an accident.
Most everyone nowadays are conscious of what could happen and don't actually force the involvement of alcohol..but there's def still that peer pressure that most anyone could be influenced by. They can be fun to plan but also not fun to know that that person is completely uncomfortable with what they have to do. It's definitely a debatable situation..what do you think??

September

We've only gone to school for one full week and I am already behind... Basketball has started and is already making me sacrifice study time to get caught up with my school work. But got part of the weekend to work on it...and the other part of the weekend will be spent on more basketball. Don't get me wrong I have no problem spending all this time on basketball..I actually wouldn't know what to do if I didn't!
Also this weekend is a worldwide event called Go Shoeless with Right to Play! It is an event that raises money and awareness for the less fortunate kids in third world countries by giving them opportunities through sport.
Our event at my university is a couple soccer games and a football game, where the coaches in the soccer games won't be wearing any shoes and the crowd can "shoe check" theirs.
Also this weekend is the grand opening of our schools soccer field and an alumini weekend for the soccer teams.
On Sunday is the Terry Fox Run which my whole team will be participating in. Then after that is... more homework for me.
Hope all of you have a great weekend!

Tuesday 6 September 2011

All moved in (sort of)

Officially moved into my apartment! We still have one more roommate to move in but we have everything for the kitchen, living room unpacked and the cupboard has been completely clean for the first time tonight! I am still trying to get all my clothes and stuff unpacked..ran out of hangers and didn't bring a dresser so I've got some clothes laying around on the floor.

Also basketball has sort of started. We've been getting together to scrimmage and do some cardio stuff but our first official tryout is on Friday. We have about 6 new recruits this year, including a couple transfers. I'm not so sure I'll be on the team yet and am definitely nervous..can't say I had such a great year last year.

Anyways..guess I could do some more unpacking!

Pat Summitt

Just this week the famous basketball coach Pat Summitt who has had an amazing career coaching the Lady Vols at the University of Tennessee announced that she  has learned she has had the beginning of symptoms for dimentia, Alzheimer's type. Pat has had a lasting influence on many of the players she coached including Kara Lawson, Tamika Catching, Candace Parker, etc. She has coached the Lady Vols to many titles over the years and has earned respect from many of her peers and fellow coaches. She decided to try and continue coaching her players this year and will rely on help from her assistants and coaching staff. I'm a big fan of the team and Pat and hope all works out for her as her and her big family fight the disease.

Here's a video where she announces to the public about the disease and her plans:

Summer is coming to an end...

I can't believe that summer is almost over. Tomorrow is my last day at work and Saturday my family and I are going to the states to do some shopping. Then the next week it's time to start moving in to my apartment...don't know if I'm excited to go back or dreading it yet. Lets put it this way. Excited to see everyone but dreading the school work...
I've already started packing some stuff. Mom's got boxes of little apartment things that I never would have thought of.. and it'll be somewhat of a surprise to see what my roomate's bring although we have talked about what we've all got for the big things like a couch, table, etc.
Well enough babbling for today...I guess I should head to the gym tonight to get some training in!

Update

So I will finally be back at the blogging. As I said before work has been a little crazy lately and now its starting to slow down after all our major activities for the summer are over.
For an update on the 3on3 Basketball tournament I hosted a while ago.. it went great! A couple teams from 3 and 4 hours away came, 13 teams in all. We ended up making money on the event (after none of my supervisors believed we would). The only downfall for me was that four of the open division girls teams dropped out the week of the event so my team had to play in the open men's division. We competed pretty well but cam in 5th out of 6 teams (we beat the maintenance workers team that I work with...who I might add was bragging all week that his team could win the whole thing).
We had a motor cycle toy run which had the biggest turnout that they have had in a long time the same day. My soccer and basketball team got second and third place. Should've got first in basketball we believe because the ref was super bias for her home team..and was wearing flip flops and standing by the clock to end the game short once they got ahead a basket..and clapping when they scored...
We also had a grand opening for a new park in our village..had lot's of people come out for that..even though it poured for about ten minutes and everyone got soaked. And a 5k run which I organised but couldn't come to because I was three hours away at a basketball tournament. They told me that not as many people as usual came out to that but it still went really well.
Now all I have is activity days twice a week and rec. soccer practices and games twice a week along with rec. t-ball once a week.
Summers almost over! It's going so fast..

Back At It Soon!!

I just thought I should put up a quick note. I haven't been able to check out everyone's blogs or even update my own lately. Work randomly got super busy and I can't do it at home with the dial up! Work should slow down in a week so I'll be back to get caught up on all of your blogs and update soon!!! Gotta get back to work...

New Car

Got a car last week! It's my first car...even though I can't really say its mine since my parent bought it...and I have to share it with my sister when she gets her license...either way its still a car and I don't have to ask my mother to use her car all the time anymore because now we can both go places at the same time.
It's a 2002 Oldsmobile Alero...looks something like this:

Basketball Prospect

This is insane...wish I had some more height/or long arms..

Read this article.. He is 6 foot 8 and has a reach of 9 foot 3! His wing span is 7 foot 9 inches!

3on3 Tournament

This is my first year working for the Rec. Department in my village. It's also my bosses first year helping out the rec director (me) as well. The person who usually does it is gone so together we have to try and guess what things to order for uniforms, trophy's, etc. Although sometimes it can be awkward making phone calls that I don't even know who I am talking to or I am not even one hundred percent sure what I need from this person because it was explained to me terribly...I love it. Since we are both new to this, she lets me dream up ideas of events that our village can do this year as long as its within our budget. So far I have had a rugby clinic, a running club...and I am in the process of organising a 3on3 basketball tournament for anyone to register for. I think I will post at a later date more of my basketball tournament because it is turning out to be a lot bigger then  what it started out to be...but just as big as I want it to be, I want this to become an annual event for us!!
Anyways...I'll stop rambling on. Can you tell how excited I get about my job

Monday 20 June 2011

Stanley Cup

So this is my last post about Boston. They Won!! The stanley cup parade was on the weekend. I knew few families that had gone to it. I would've liked to have gone as well but I was at a basketball tournament that day.

Hope everyone had a great father's day weekend!!

Tuesday 14 June 2011

Boston Wins Again!

So Boston won another game last night!! They beat Vancouver 5-2 and scored 4 of their goals in the first period saving the series and taking it to game 7! Here's a recap of the game if your interested!
                                http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/recap?gameId=310613001

Also, Sunday night the Mav's beat Miami Heat for the NBA Finals!! I'm so glad that Miami and LeBron and Wade didn't win. LeBron stormed off court and didn't even shake anyones hand.. at least the rest of his team showed some sportsmanship.

WNBA

Not very many people are aware of the WNBA. It's probably one of the most discriminated against things out there!! I did a paper on discrimination in woman's sport for my History of Sport class and had Candace Parker as on of the main topics. I think it's a lot better than NBA where they only play up to their potential in the post season, and proved by the other nights game, they can get up holding the ball and it's not a travel? She is starting to make more people aware of the woman's sport and one of the most advertised athletes out there!

This was a while ago but this is her rookie debut in the WNBA..after a very successful career with Tennessee Lady Vols.

She has her own website as well if you want to check it out!

The WNBA season starts up pretty soon and since it's so badly discriminated against it's pretty hard to get the chance to watch it on satelite TV. So we have a special channel that's for an NBA team that plays WNBA in the summer when there is no NBA on.

Quick Note

So we lost our first soccer game. It was a close game and we scored first, but they got a lucky bounce close to the end of the game that bounced off their player and went in close to the end of the game. The game was just how I like it... really rough, they were a pretty cocky team and very dirty and got lucky with a ref that ran around the center circle the entire game because he was too lazy to run back and fourth. He relied on the linesmen for calls they didn't have to make.
I think we did really we considering most of us didn't know each others name to call out to each other for the ball. Most of us had just met either earlier that week or the day of the game. The other team had been playing together for a few years. To add to the difficulty of us communicating on the field, three quarters of the team speaks french. I do not understand most of what they say because I can barely speak/understand french at all. Luckily a lot of them can understand english and speak it enough for us to talk to each other...but there's always a lot of whats? and Huh's? When they talk to each other they speak in french so I miss a lot of what they are talking about. But I kind of like how we are a bilingual team. It's probably just a little annoying for the coach to have to say everything in french and then say it again in english to the four of us that are english.

On another note, up to fifty followers now, Thanks for following everyone!!

Busy Week

It's been a busy week. Finally got a couple days of sunshine this week! At work we got the pool all painted and all of our Recreation Teams registered! Also, My birthday was this week and I went to the movies with a couple of friends for it and tonight I am having my birthday cake, etc. with the fam. At work a couple girls I work with kept dissapearing all day, I just assumed they were at the pool but when I came back in the room once from printing registration forms, everyone was singing happy birthday and they had been making a cake all day.. a very good one I might add.
My own first league soccer game is this weekend! We play one of the best teams in our league that have been playing together for a while, (we are a mix of girls across the province) and we've only had three practices with not everyone there.. should be interesting! Hope everyone has a great weekend!!

Friday 20 May 2011

Sun at last

Get my first pay check today!.. one of you asked how much I get paid a couple days ago, I'm pretty sure it's 10.50/hr, but I'm not a hundred percent sure.

On another note. It has been raining here for about two months straight with only one or two sunny days in those two months. Yesterday and today, we actually saw a little sun, its still not clear of cloudiness, but it sure is nice to have the sun and no rain! Hopefully it stays this way for the weekend.

I think I saw this video on another blog a while ago, but my grandfather showed it to me and I think its really cute and funny so thought I'd post it!

I love my job

So I started work last week...for my first ever job (first summer I have ever had time to actually work becuase others I was too busy with my basketball teams which involved a lot of traveling). Anyways I actually love my job. Right now I am sitting at a desk doing absolutely nothing because we all have to take turns sitting at the desk answering phone calls (which we just have to take a message and write it down)...I have got one phone call for the two hours I have been sitting here. Also when the summer kicks in I get to play sports with kids and coach, which I would do for free anyways. I coach every summer and now I'm getting paid for it. And next week I am headed to my university to train for ball with a couple girls from my team. Becuase I can take days off to go there and my boss said it was perfectly fine just to tell them in advance.

While sitting here i have been trying to think of which iphone to get... Thought I'd ask for an opinion

Or should I get the Blackberry Bold, or Blackberry torch...

Friday 13 May 2011

NBA Celtics Game

So my blog about the Celtics game dissapeared and I just realised it. Even though my favourite team is out, their head coach has agreed to another five year contract with the coaches after saying no to the lakers. So still looking forward to next year.. they still have Rondo and Allen and Pierce..not sure if Garnet will play another year or not.. they are definatly aging. I think if Rondo didn't dislocate his elbow (thanks to an intentional foul that wasn't called on Dwayne Wade who I am not a fan of) and Oneal wasn't hurt and Big Baby wasn't a big baby then they definatly would have won this year. Rondo still played which was amazing but he definalty wasn't up to his full potential after his injury.

On another note, my brother is home this weekend for the first time in like a year and a half. He couldn't even make it home for Christmas! He's leaving again on Sunday for the summer and won't be back until september. I'll probably just be home most of the weekend getting caught up with my brother..and he has decided to come to my school to finish a kinesiology degree in the fall so I'll get to see him a lot then since we'll be taking the same course!
Hope everyone has a great weekend!!

Sunday 8 May 2011

Dial Up...

So now that I am done school for the summer I am back home where well.. I pretty much live in the middle of nowheres I guess you could say. We have been trying to get the internet company closest to us to get us high speed internent but have not had success. Aparently it is not possible for us to get high speed... so I'm stuck with dial up internet for the summer, which makes blogging difficult. I attempted catching up on everyones blog with our dial up, but got too frustrated with how long it was taking, and how it would not let me comment for some reason. It was taking foorrrevverr. So I am going to try and get on here at least once hopefully two or three times per week by using my friends or family members who have high speed.
Not only are we not able to have high speed, but barely any phone service as well. There are only certain places in our house where we can get good phone service.. and most of the time our cell phones pick up the American towers since we live so close to a US border.
So looking forward to reading everyone's blogs when I can!

Monday 25 April 2011

Finally!

Done, Done, Done, Finally done!! And just in time for Easter. I have a younger sister so we still have an easter egg hunt every year.. although her and me are the only two of my brother's and sister that actually look for the eggs anymore... my older sister just won't and my older brother isn't home because he is still away working on a ski hill. My summer job starts up soon and I am actually excited for it too...it's actually my first full time job because I have always been playing basketball throughout the summer and never had time to have one.. my jobs have consisted of the harvest season and coaching basketball camps whenever the option comes up. Basketball camps actually pay really well too so I was perfectly happy with that... but my parents wanted me to get a full time job. But the job I has is perfect for me. I get to coach soccer teams and a sport of my choice, I only work from Monday to Friday, I can work extra at night to make more money if I want to, I got to pick who I wanted for an assistant coach, and if I want to have a day off to go train with some of my teammates at my university I can just make my assistant coach my team. It's the perfect job for me, and I get to start in May!
Anyways... Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter weekend!

Friday 15 April 2011

Almost Done

Exams and the school year is almost over!! I only have two left next week, out of five...decided to come on here to take a break from studying. Will be back on full to the blogging after exams!

Monday 28 March 2011

Someone posted this on my friends wall... I think they've got some talent. I'm liking the super intense guy on the left.. What do you think??

Monday 21 March 2011

Sorry!

Hey guys,
I'm very sorry for not posting and following your blogs for such a long time!! I know I said I would be back on by early last week after I finished our basketball season, but I had an unexpected trip to the hospital and was stuck there for six days... Lots of fun. I'm pretty behind on school work now and missed three mid terms the past week so it'll be hard to get caught up on all your blogs, but I'm really going to try!!
Hope to be back at it soon, hope you all have had a better past two weeks then me.

Sunday 13 March 2011

Season Ender

So our season is all done now. There is a wildcard to be chosen, but I am pretty sure that we won't get it. We lost the game yesterday by six I think it was... we shot twenty percent which is the worst we have shot all season, but I think we played pretty good other than that. Which sucks even more is a team that we beat by twenty to get to the final last weekend won their game yesterday and is going to nationals... but at least that shows us for sure that we should have been there, but oh well we had a really good season, two weeks off and then we'll start training for next year.
This past week was also our break and I was hoping to get caught up on some school work... that didn't happen, I was busy with ball the whole time. Now I have only today to study for two midterms and finish up two assignments... Library all day. So I'll get back to the blogging in a couple days! Thanks for the good luck wishes and support!

Saturday 12 March 2011

Another Final

Quick update, I have to go get ready for our game. We won yesterdays game and are playing against the winner of the second game last night today at four o'clock to see who goes to nationals. Wish us luck!

Tuesday 8 March 2011

Would You Look At This

So I might be boring you guys with my rants about our basketball games. A friend posted this on my wall, thought it would be something a little more interesting than just reading my long post! It gave me a laugh after our loss. Hope it does for you too...just look at it!

I'll be back to the updates this weekend to let you know how we make out!

Monday 7 March 2011

Probably the weirdest end to a basketball game I have ever seen or been involved in... We ended up losing by five points 85-80. The first time I have said this too.. I blame it completely on the refs. I'll explain. First of all, you are not aloud to have the same refs ref two days in a row at the level of basketball we play, and you are definatly not aloud to have the exact same refs ref you two days in a row. Also, you are not aloud to have a ref from the hometown of the other team ref your games either... and all of this was the case when we played in our championship.
It was close the whole way through the game, the other team went to the foul line seventeen times... we went twice. This is the weird ending. The ball bounces out of bounce, no call, so everyone keeps playing and we hit a three to tie the game with twenty, thirtyish seconds left. There was a time out and the other team gets the ball at half. The other teams point guard is dribbling just inside the front court.. completely messes up and double dribbles the ball...no call. Then she drive in and passes it to a post ( who our post had fouled before the pass and  her shot to stop the clock.. but no call) then our post fouls her while she takes a bunny shot ( while everyone in the gym is still yelling about the double dribble and carry that wasn't called). The shot goes in... the ref has her arm up as all three refs discuss the call and then she blows the whistle again and calls a flagrant foul. The other team got another foul shot... made it and the ball back. We lose by five after being tied with twenty seconds left. And I know a lot of other things and bad calls happened throughout the game, but really? I blame it completely on the hometown refs... It was the most ridiculous end I have ever seen.

Our season isn't done though. We can still go to our national tournament after a couple games this coming weekend. If we had won we would have gotten a bye.. which would have been nice seeing how I have two mid terms on Monday to study for this weekend! Oh well, and thanks for the good luck wishes the other day as well!

Saturday 5 March 2011

We're Going To The Ship

We won!! We have split games with this team all year and we beat them by twenty points. For some reason we always get intimidated playing them in their gym but this time we knew we were better and just played like we can and it showed!
Now we're goin to the ship what, wha?? We're goin to the ship!  (chant off of the movie coach carter if anyone has ever seen it!) We play at one tomorrow for the banner!

Thursday 3 March 2011

Just Landed

My team and I just landed off the plane for our championship weekend not too long ago. We are at the hotel now getting ready for a tournament banquet. We don't play until Saturday since we finished in second place. We'll be here until Sunday and I'll try to keep updating my blog and let everyone know how we do!

Monday 28 February 2011

The Little Lulu Show!

My roommate and I somehow got on the conversation about show and we can remember watching it as little kids. We have been watching different episodes for an hour now. I used to love this show, I would watch it all the time at my grandmother's house. I have seen every episode at least twice because before they stopped showing it they used to show rerun after rerun. I miss this show!

Sunday 27 February 2011

Road Trip

So it's been quite a while since I last posted. My team left thursday morning for a long basketball road trip and just got back last night at three thirty in the morning.. or I guess I should say this morning.
We couldn't get our team bus for some reason so there was no wireless on the way there or back, and our hotels internet was not working either. I couldn't get any homework done because I needed the internet to do it. The trip was ten hours long and we couldn't do anything but talk, sleep and watch movies, so that's all we did. That wasn't the only problem of the weekend either. Our team played seven out of eight bad quarters and we lost both games. We played a couple of the worst games we played all season. So we aren't in first in our league. But we still get a bye into playoffs because we still finished second, so we can make up for it next week when playoffs come and hopefully we''ll come home with the banner! We leave on Wednesday morning.

Wednesday 23 February 2011

Night Time... Daytime!

I love this video. Watching it never gets old. My roommate and I have probably watched this video more than ten times today along with the other one's on youtube with the talking animals. If you need to lighten up your day this is a good video to watch!
Also, thanks for the comments.. almost up to ten followers now!

Controversial Win?

The presentation of Blake Griffin's dunk was definatly very creative. I love Blake Griffin too, he's one of my favourite players, but I think Javale Mcgee's dunk deserved the win, it was amazing. I can't believe I'm saying this but Griffin barely even jumped over the car, he jumped over the end of the hood. In an article on this link it said that it's possible barely anyone else in the world could do Mcgee's dunk!

"Chris Webber said it was going to be a "space age" dunk and this was definitely outside the realm of anything seen before in the Dunk Contest.
McGee brought out a second basket for his first dunk. With Chris Webber acting as his Vince McMahon-esque hype man. He missed he missed several attempts, but put down the dunk before time expired.
The TNT crew mused that, with his wingspan, it's possible McGee is the only person on earth who could do that dunk. Kenny Smith called it the "third degree" of difficulty he'd ever seen in his life."

What do you guys think, who shoulda won??

Classes

Have you ever sat at the back of a theatre class with two to three hundred or more people in it. There is always the same people in pretty much every class. I'll start at the front. There is the people that are really smart and seem really interested and engaged in what the teacher is talking about...even though sometimes I'm pretty sure the proffesseur stops speaking english half way through their rant. These people get the front few seats everyday because they have been sitting there since eight thirty in the morning and go until about three in the afternoon. They are usually good people to ask for help on a tough assignment because they always know what they are doing. Then there is that one person that always interrupts the proffesseur to tell them they made a small mistake on the board that everyone knows was there. This person is also the one that isn't afraid to ask questions or answer the proffesseurs questions out loud in front of the whole class. Don't get me wrong, I admire how they aren't afraid to speak out and ask a question, but the obvious corrections and questions are really unnecessary.
There is a couple that I see everyday (or I'm assuming they are a couple). They cuddle up together and just sleep, in class. Then there is the people on Facebook all class, the people browsing the internet, people constantly texting and the people doing the assignment that is due half an hour after class. I never understood why they don't just not come to class and do that at home seeing how they aren't paying attention anyways. There's also this one group of people where a couple of them come in late almost everyday... and somehow they always seem to be sitting somewhere's near me. They talk and laugh the whole class and it drives me crazy because it makes it you can't hear and pay attention to the slides that you get to see for thirty seconds before it's changed...Then there is everyone else. Who most often pay complete attention, but sometimes just can't seem to pay attention, and find ourselves on Facebook, browsing or whatever else keeps us entertained and awake.
Sorry for the long post, that took a lot longer to say than I thought it would...next time you're in a big class, look around I bet you'll see people doing things really similar!

Senior's Night

Hey everyone, so this is my first real post. I'm really starting to admire all you bloggers because I never realized how hard it actually is to post a blog everyday. Hopefully I'll be able to work my way up to be as good as the rest of you. Anyways the reason why I haven't posted yet is because yesterday my team was playing a very important basketball game. It was against the team that we were tied with for first in our league and was also our seniors night where we were saying goodbye to our graduating players. The team we were playing has won the last few championships too. We were ahead the whole game but it was close the whole way through. With five seconds left we were only winning by two, but we got the ball and they fouled us with .7 seconds left. We made a foul shot and ended up winning by three. It was an intense game and we are now in first! We play them again this weekend, so should be a good game!
